Pingit are running a promotion, giving you a chance to order a free limited edition contactless Pingit costume (the “Promotion"). To see the range of limited edition costumes, visit web.pingit.com. The costumes (hereafter referred to as “Pingit Contactless Costumes") will be available on a first come, first served basis.
1.“Pingit", the “Promoter", “we", “us" and “ours" means Barclays Bank UK PLC of 1 Churchill Place, London, E14 5HP.
Promotion Eligibility Criteria
2.This Promotion is open to persons aged 16 and over who are based in the UK (excluding Jersey, Guernsey and Isle of Man).
3.You are not eligible for the Promotion if you are materially connected to the administration of the Promotion.
4.To activate the Pingit chip for contactless payments, you will need to meet the Pingit eligibility criteria and register for Pingit. Please see Clauses 14 - 15 for more information.
5.Entry into this Promotion is free.
6.The Promotion will be open from 12:00PM on 11 September 2019 and will be available on a first come first served basis. For the avoidance of doubt, if the Pingit Contactless Costumes are no longer available, the item(s) will be shown as 'Out of stock.'
7.There are a total of 60 Pingit Contactless Costumes available, which consists of 15 kitty suits, 15 Sumo suits, 15 Morph suits and 15 Bride Tribe Sashes. You will only be able to order one Pingit Contactless Costume per person.
8.To obtain a Pingit Contactless Costume (subject to availability), please follow the steps as set out below:
a.Visit the Pingit e-store at web.pingit.com;
b.Select your preferred Pingit Contactless Costume and add it to your basket;
c.Click 'Proceed to checkout' and complete your order - you will not be charged for your Pingit Contactless Costume or delivery. Please note: we do not deliver to addresses outside the UK.
Placing an order
9.When placing your order, you will be asked to provide the following information email address, mobile number and delivery address. This information will be used to send you an order acknowledgement email and to deliver your Pingit Contactless Costume. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for orders which are incomplete or unsuccessfully completed due to a technical fault, technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
When your order is complete, you will receive an order acknowledgement email. This will provide delivery details, including the estimated delivery timeframe. Delivery times may vary depending on UK bank holidays. This timeframe is subject to stock availability.
10.Fulfilment of the order acknowledgment email is subject to stock availability. If we're unable to supply, you with a Pingit contactless costume (which may be because the Pingit contactless costume you've requested is out of stock or no longer available) we'll inform you of this by email.
11.The Pingit Contactless Costumes are limited to one per person. If you order two or more Pingit Contactless Costumes, you will receive an order acknowledgement email for these items. However, upon fulfilment you will only receive one item (subject to availability), which will be chosen at the Promoter's discretion. You will be notified by email, if this is the case.
12.If you order a Pingit wearable and a Pingit Contactless Costume, you will receive an order acknowledgment for these items. The promotional Pingit Contactless Costume will be governed under the terms provided within this document. Any additional Pingit wearables purchased as part of your order, will be governed under the standard e-store terms for non-promotional items and can be found here https://web.pingit.com/purchase-terms-and-conditions. You will receive the items as two separate orders.
13.Delivery for the Pingit Contactless Costume will be free of charge and will be sent by recorded delivery to locations within the United Kingdom only. You will need to sign for your delivery upon arrival.
How to activate your Pingit Contactless Costume
14.Pingit is subject to application and acceptance of T&Cs, which can be viewed here https://web.pingit.com/purchase-terms-and-conditions. To register your device with Pingit you must be 16 or over, have a current account in the UK and be a resident of the UK, the Isle of Man, Jersey or Guernsey. Any devices purchased can be used for payments for a minimum of 2 years.
15.To activate your Pingit chip, follow the instructions as set out below:
a.if you're new to Pingit, you will need to download the Pingit app and follow the on-screen instructions to set up an account,
b.Head to 'Spend' to add your device,
c.Tap in the eight-character device ID shown on the chip – the device ID is printed on the chip integrated on the inside of the costume – no need to remove the chip.
d.Top up your account or jar so you are ready to spend.
Returns and Exchange policy
16.Returns and exchanges are not permitted for the Pingit Contactless Costumes. For any queries or complaints, please visit the Pingit Help Centre https://www.pingit.com/help/.
17.We will supply your Pingit Contactless Costume to you for personal use and you agree not to use the Pingit device for any commercial or business purposes.
18.To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered in connection with the Promotion, or any delays or failure (in whole or in part) to perform any of its obligations if such delay or failure is caused by something beyond its reasonable control.
19.Except as expressly stated in these Terms, we do not give any representation, warranties or undertakings in relation to the Pingit contactless costumes and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we hereby exclude any representation, condition or warranty which might be implied or incorporated into these Terms by law.
20.We carefully protect the information we hold about you. Barclays is committed to protecting your personal data. We will use your information for a number of different purposes, for example, to manage your account(s), to provide our products and services to you and others and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations. We will also share your information with our distributors in order to fulfil your order. Disposing of your Pingit Chip
21.The crossed out wheelie bin symbol on your packaging means that you can't throw your Pingit chip found in your Pingit Contactless Costume in the bin. Pingit Contactless Costumes have electrical components, which if not disposed of properly could cause damage to the environment. We are committed to the safe disposal of our products so we offer a free returns policy so that you can dispose them safely. If you would like Pingit to dispose of your contactless costume's payment chip, once you have finished with it please remove your payment chip and use the form included or download it from Pingit.com download this form https://web.pingit.com/images/content/pingit-retur.... There's nothing to fill in, just cut off the freepost label and stick it to an envelope. Cut your chip in half and pop it inside an envelope with a note to say you want us to destroy it for you. We'll dispose of it safely on your behalf.
22.Owing to exceptional circumstances outside its reasonable control, Pingit reserves the right to amend or withdraw this Promotion at any time without prior notice to you.
23.By submitting an order, you warrant that all information submitted as part of the entry is true, current and complete. The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries for compliance with these terms and conditions.
24.These rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to any disputes arising in respect of this Promotion.
