I've had a great time celebrating Diwali, Halloween and Guy Fawkes Night with my family and I'm super excited now that we're in Christmas countdown (it's not too early to talk about Christmas is it?)
Before the rest of the festivities kick in though, I'm taking a bit of time to be kind to myself and my finances. I wanted to share my three top tips to help you get prepped for those winter months with Pingit.
1. Create your winter jarsI've set up three. One for Christmas presents, one for the work Christmas event and one for any emergencies (nothing worse than a broken car or radiator this time of year!).
Pingit lets you create up to 5 jars and you can rename these whenever you want (so when we say goodbye to winter, you can easily turn that Christmas jar into your next trip away).
2. Make it easier to collect moneyIf you're the one left to organise the Christmas party or your parents' presents, set up and share your Pingit.merequest link. They can pay you by debit card without having to join Pingit, and you can easily keep track of who's paid.
3. Most importantly, have fun!Make the most of having the time to catch up with your family and friends (don't forget to take the biccies!)
